Married on Thanksgiving Day 1981 in İzmir, Turkey, we immediately set about getting Mui’s immigrant status to the US finalized. With his “Green Card” in hand, we left Turkey on January 1, 1982. Destination: Seattle, Washington via an overnight stay in London, England.
