South America?

So is this geyser going to erupt or not?

Sunset Lake at Black Sand Basin
It sure stinks like rotten eggs.

There’s a geyser somewhere behind us.

Giant Geyser is located in the upper geyser basin.  it erupts to
heights of 200 feet (61 M) for durations ranging from 45 to 60 minutes.

Here are a series of photos taken at Old Faithful; too bad we didn’t have blue skies … the effect would have been much more dramatic.

While waiting for Old Faithful to blow its top, Mui makes a new friend.

All too soon it was time to head home.

Picnic lunch on the way back home.

We’re home!
Good thing we have a sofa that can accommodate all of us!

We covered a lot of distance on this short weekend trip.  Was it tiring?  Sure.  But we had fun nonetheless.
